FAQ
No, the full day trips of a package can be freely distributed over the entire holiday period.
Even if you miss one dive or a full day trip of your pre-booked dive package because you are sick, the dive package is still cheaper than the same service booked on site. However, if it is a serious illness and you can not dive any longer, we will definitely find a solution. Usually we dissolve the dive package on site and calculate the transferred amount as a down payment. Please be aware that dives not completed on the minisafari cannot be refunded.
In this case write us a short email incl. the account details for the refund. If the entire trip had to be canceled, we will transfer the total amount without deductions (for bank transfer) or for a fee deduction of 2 to 4 % on PayPal payment.
Unfortunately not. On-site no discounted dive packages can be booked. At the diving center only the current on-site price list applies.
There is a very simple way. As an example: If someone wants to do 10 days diving with us, he simply books the 9.5 days dive package in advance. On-site we can extend it by a surcharge of 18,- €, so that 9.5 diving days will be turned into 10 diving days.
In exceptional cases you can convert max. 2 full day trips from the pre-booked dive package into 4 half day trips. For this change of booking a surcharge of 20,- € per full day trip will be charged.
Unfortunately not, but you could use it e.g. for rental equipment or additional diving days on-site.
The cheaper version is to pre-book your dive package, because the discount can be up to 15% (depends of the dive package). But the J&M Dive Card / Dive-Visa is more flexible, because you only pay the dives you actually made with a discount of 10%.
The half day trip is carried out at the beginning of your holiday. It allows you a comfortable "arrival" and at the same time it gives us the opportunity to get to know you underwater. This kind of assessment helps us with the further planning of dive trips and the choice of dive sites.
Parents who both dive and have an infant on their diving holiday, can share a dive package.
There are the following options:
1. Both parents join the trip and share the day of diving (one dive each), so that the child can be take care of alternately.
2. One parent stays ashore with the child and the partner goes diving. The next day will be swapped.
Local regulations say that the following basis conditions have to be met for diving in the Red Sea:
Presentation of a valid dive certificate, a logbook and a medical certificate not older than 2 years (up to 40 years, over 40 years it is only valid for one year). In addition, there must be a diving accident insurance (e.g. DAN). Current health changes may require a short-term examination. If you are older than 60 years of age, you must provide a medical form stating you are safe to dive. In case you cannot provide one on arrival it is possible to acquire on here in the city on short notice.
All our scuba tanks have a DIN valve. Adapters from INT to DIN are sufficiently available at our diving center.
Since boxes are bulky and stiff, we rent free diving bags, which can be stored more conveniently and are even more "friendly" to the toes.
We can transfer your photos on an USB stick, your SD card, etc.
