About us

According to the motto „Details make all the difference“ we have been running the James & Mac Diving Center since 1987 under German management. Our diving center is located in the Giftun Azur Beach Hotel in Hurghada at the Red Sea. 

With several years of experience, we offer beside daily dive trips, dive trainings for beginners as well as for advanced divers. The dive trainings are internationally recognized and follow the guidelines of the diving association PADI. PADI is the largest diving association in the world and guarantees our divers a worldwide recognition of their diving license.

Due to the ideal Egyptian weather conditions, the Red Sea is a year-round diving destination. We are open 365 days a year and welcome our divers even on weekends and holidays. The central location of our diving center allows you to choose from over 50 dive sites in the north and south of Hurghada. Thus, there is something for every divers heart and also the wreck fans get their money’s worth. 

Our cozy diving center, incl. a large seating area and the divers bar „Shaab Stella“, invites for the daily „Après Dive“. During some diver chat in our comfortable seating area and a so called „deco drink“ some diver friendships have been already made. 

Europe’s largest dive magazine has awarded us several times with the award „Best Diving Center Red Sea“, which we owe our enthusiastic dive guests and dedicated employees. 

Our goal is to inspire young and elderly for the underwater world and scuba diving. We are supported from the variety of coral and fish diversity of the Red Sea and the indescribably warm and familiar atmosphere of Egypt.
